Technical Specifications
Even, tapered sides with a widening slot offers little resistance to passing materials, causing little danger of pegging by marginal particles and allowing easy passage of liquids through the screen. The SB profile has numerous applications and is available in a range of stainless steel qualities.
Even, tapered sides angled at 4° in the upper part reduce the rate of the slot widening. A high proportion of marginal or unsuitably shaped particles may cause some pegging and blocking. The profile is recommended for use when sieve life is of prime importance and where the slow taper effect causes no problems. The SSB profile is available in a range of stainless steel qualities.
The almost parallel sides of the wear heads mean that this profile can be used when there are no marginal particles which may cause blocking. The slot width is maintained even when there is wear of the sieve surface. Only when the wear head has worn away is there any slot widening. The HS range is available in manganese steel only.
Special profile wires area available in a range of stainless steel qualities.
Cross rods are available in a range of stainless steel qualities.
Lacsite looped profile wire are available in a range of stainless steel qualities with ø8mm cross rods at 70mm pitch.
